World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5th every year across the world to raise awareness about environmental issues and to encourage people to take action towards protecting the environment. The day was initiated by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972, and since then, it has been widely celebrated across countries with great enthusiasm and vigor.
