Essay 74: A Walk along the River Side

As I strolled along the river side, I couldn’t help but marvel at the breathtaking scenery. The sun was shining brightly in the sky, and the water sparkled and glittered as it flowed by. The sound of the water was soothing, and a cool breeze blew across my face, making the hot day more bearable.

I saw a variety of boats moored by the shore. Some were small canoes, while others were larger, luxurious yachts. People were fishing, rowing and picnicking by the river side, making the area lively and bustling with activity.

The trees and plants along the river side provided a sense of tranquility and calmness. The green leaves swayed gently in the wind, and the flowers bloomed in a myriad of colours, adding to the beauty of the surroundings.

As I continued my walk, I saw several ducks swimming in the river, and their quacks filled the air. Further down the river side, I saw a family of swans gracefully gliding through the water.

As the sun began to set, the sky was painted in vibrant hues of red, orange and pink. The reflection of the sky on the water was a sight to behold, and I felt lucky to have witnessed such a beautiful moment.

As I left the river side, I felt rejuvenated and refreshed. The natural beauty had lifted my spirits, and I looked forward to returning and experiencing it again.
